She has presented her work internationally and authored chapters in authoritative respiratory medicine texts.

Dr. Dunleavy undertook higher specialist training in respiratory and general medicine at several prestigious London hospitals, including the Royal Brompton Hospital, Royal Free Hospital, and St George’s Hospital. Her training included out-of-programme fellowships in research and medical education, during which she developed clinical expertise in complex infections and cystic fibrosis, as well as academic skills in teaching, curriculum development, and mentoring.
