Mr McGoldrick is a graduate of University College Dublin 1982. He undertook Specialist Orthopaedic training receiving Certification in 1994. He obtained a Masters in Surgery 1986. He has obtained Postgraduate fellowships in Surgery, Orthopaedics and Sports and Exercise Medicine , FRCSI, FRCS and FFSEM. Mr McGoldrick has undertaken Specialist Fellowships in France, United Kingdom and United States.
Mr McGoldrick has multiple peer-reviewed articles published in international journals in addition to substantial presentations at meetings, etc
Mr McGoldrick has specialist Fellowship training in Hand and upper limb surgery obtained in the Kleinert Hand Institute, Louisville, Kentucky, Pulvertaft Hand Centre, Derby, UK and Centre for Trauma and Orthopaedics (CTO) Strasbourg, France
