Mr McGoldrick is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in primary and revision arthroplasty of the hip and knee. He also performs arthroscopic soft tissue surgery of the knee.
Mr McGoldrick is a graduate of UCD Medical School (2010). After internship in the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, he undertook Basic and Higher Surgical Training in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery through RCSI. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2019, and completed surgical training in 2020. He was awarded a first class honours Master of Surgery (MCh) in 2014, and also holds a Professional Diploma in Health Economics. He has completed two international fellowships in North America and the United Kingdom.
Mr McGoldrick has dual fellowship training in North America and the United Kingdom. He undertook subspecialist training in Adult Reconstructive surgery of the hip and knee in The Ottawa Hospital, Canada. This was complemented with further subspecialist training in Soft Tissue Knee surgery in University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire NHS Trust, UK.
