Prof. Oleg Ilyinski graduated from the Latvian Medical Academy (Rīgas Stradiņa universitāte) in 1991. After completing his specialist training, he worked in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care. He was awarded the European Diploma in Anaesthesiology in 1998 in Sweden and started his career in Ireland in 1999. Prof. Ilyinski is a Fellow of the College of Anaesthetists RCSI, Dublin, Ireland and the Faculty of Pain Medicine COA. Prof. Ilyinski developed an interest in Pain Medicine in 2003 and was awarded a Diploma in Pain Medicine in 2007 and after defending his dissertation, he became a Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine, COI RCSI, Dublin, Ireland. He started his private practice in 2009 and currently runs a busy Multidisciplinary Pain Clinic and operates in major private hospitals in South Dublin.
