Eimear completed her degree in Physiotherapy at Trinity College Dublin in 2013. After qualification, she spent time working in the acute hospital setting in Singapore, completing rotations in orthopaedics, musculoskeletal outpatients and sports medicine before moving on to work for seven years across private practice and Sports Medicine settings in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia. Eimear completed a Masters in Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy from LaTrobe University in Melbourne in 2020.
She has a special interest in the rehabilitation of sports and musculoskeletal injuries through education, pain management and exercise. Her main clinical areas of interest include hip and knee rehabilitation. Eimear has worked across multiple sporting codes inclusive of Australian Rules football, rugby, state level womens and mixed netball in Melbourne and was physiotherapist with Sydney Swans inaugoral AFL womens program in 2022 as well as working in Shute Shield Rugby in Sydney with Randwick Rugby Club. She has completed numerous post graduate courses including dry needling, pilates ( DMA certified), strength and conditioning (Australian Strength and Conditioning Association Level 1 Coach), pain management, tendon and joint specific advanced rehabilitation.
